As Valentine's Day approaches, we invite you to join our Chorus and the University of Washington Chamber Singers for an evening of delightful "ear candy" - in the best sense of the term! You will be treated to choral masterpieces and sonic wonders of today, including Mendelssohn's eight part motet Heilig (sung in true "surround sound"), Eric Whitacre's Lux Arumque, a luscious arrangement of the Indie Pop hit Cells Plantets, Eriks Esenvalds' Long Road, and Jan Sandstrom's Lo How A Rose. Like Forrest Gump's box of chocolates, we will have a few surprises -- including, perhaps, some audience participation!
