Beethoven:  Symphony No. 3 “Eroica”
 

The Spanish-themed Symphonie Espagnol  is in fact regarded as one of the great violin concertos in the repertoire -- a perfect vehicle for the young and vivacious Janet Sung. Beethoven’s “Eroica” straddles the Classical and Romantic eras with its perfect proportions and heroic overtones.
